We build infrastructure for verifiable giving, so we hold ourselves to the same standard we sell: collect little, say plainly what we do with it, and never be mysterious about where your information lives.
01Who we are
Giveback Ventures INC is a Delaware corporation building charitable-giving and ESG infrastructure on the Solana blockchain. This policy covers gbackventures.com, the partner dashboard at dashboard.gbackventures.com, and the forms, resources, and communications we operate. When this policy says "we," it means Giveback Ventures INC.
02What we collect
Information you give us. When you contact us, join a waitlist, request partner materials, or go through onboarding, we collect what you provide: name, email address, organization name and role, and the details of your inquiry. Nonprofit onboarding collects organizational information such as EIN, registration status, and documentation needed for our internal vetting.
Partner account information. The partner dashboard requires sign-in credentials and holds your organization's configuration: treasury settings, giving schedules, and reporting preferences.
Information collected automatically. Like nearly every website, our servers and tools record technical basics: IP address, browser type, device information, pages visited, and how you arrived. See section 06 for cookies.
What we do not collect. We do not ask for and do not want your private keys or wallet seed phrases. Nobody from Giveback Ventures will ever request them. Anyone who does is not us.
03The blockchain, plainly
Transactions on Solana are public and permanent. Wallet addresses, transaction amounts, timestamps, and on-chain receipts are visible to anyone in the world and cannot be edited or deleted by anyone, including us. That permanence is the product: it is what makes giving verifiable.
It also means that if you transact on chain, that record is outside our control forever. Deletion rights described in this policy apply to data we hold on our systems, not to the public ledger. A wallet address is pseudonymous, but if it becomes publicly linked to you, its history is too. Consider that before transacting.
04How we use it
- To run the services: operating the site, the dashboard, onboarding, giving schedules, and reporting.
- To vet the directory: our internal team reviews nonprofit applications using the information submitted.
- To respond and communicate: answering inquiries, sending materials you requested, and service notices.
- To improve things: understanding how the site is used so we can make it better.
- To meet obligations: compliance, security, fraud prevention, and legal requirements.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not rent it. We do not trade it for placement in anyone's ad system.
05Who we share with
- Service providers who help us operate: hosting, email delivery, analytics, payment and on-ramp providers, and blockchain infrastructure services. They receive only what they need to do their job.
- Identity verification providers, where regulated activity requires it. Verification is handled by the provider; we receive the result, not your documents.
- Professional advisors: lawyers, accountants, and auditors under duty of confidentiality.
- Authorities, if the law genuinely requires it, and only to the extent it requires it.
- A successor, if the company is ever merged or acquired, in which case this policy follows the data.
06Cookies & analytics
The site uses cookies and similar technologies for two jobs: making things work (sessions, sign-in, remembering preferences) and counting (aggregate analytics that tell us which pages are read and where the site is slow). You can block or clear cookies in your browser; the site will still work, though signed-in features may not.
Fonts and most page assets are embedded directly in our pages, deliberately, so your visit triggers as few third-party requests as we can manage.
07Events & live streams
Our community outreach happens in the real world and is often photographed or streamed live on platforms like Kick and X. If you attend an event or receive services at one, you may appear in that footage. We will always honor a request not to be filmed; tell a team member on site, or contact us afterwards and we will do what we reasonably can, understanding that a live stream, once broadcast, may have been rebroadcast by platforms or viewers beyond our control.
08Keeping it safe
Off-chain data is protected with access controls, encryption in transit, and the principle that the fewer people who can see something, the safer it is. Treasury operations use multi-signature controls so no single person can act alone. No system on earth is breach-proof; if an incident ever affects your personal information, we will notify you as the law requires and sooner if we can.
09How long we keep it
As long as needed for the purpose it was collected for, then it goes. Inquiries that go nowhere are cleared periodically. Partner and compliance records are kept for the period the law and our audits require. On-chain records, as section 03 explains, are permanent by design.
10Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access the personal information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, receive a copy, or object to certain uses. To exercise any of them, email us (section 14). We will verify it is really you, then act on the request within the timeline your jurisdiction sets.
Two honest limits: we cannot delete anything from the public blockchain (section 03), and we may need to retain records the law explicitly requires us to keep.
11Children
Our services are for organizations and adults. They are not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
12Other people's sites
Our pages link out: LinkedIn, X, block explorers, partner sites. Each of those runs under its own privacy policy, not this one. We choose partners carefully, but once you leave our pages, their rules apply.
13Changes to this policy
When we change this policy, we change the effective date at the top and, for material changes, say so plainly on the site. We will never quietly weaken it and hope nobody reads the diff.
